A sweeet journey of 4 yrs called engineering ended..

Everyone has her/his own unique story of college days and so do i.. I have penned down my college experience , so just read on to find out how much it resembles to your experience.. keep smiling.. :)

I entered the college with high spirits and enthusiasm to meet new people and to experience a totally new atmosphere at chennai, after doin my schooling from a completely different place ..

At karaikudi i enjoyed my days at school ( 5 yrs.) but was very much sure to enjoy more at chennai.. and so did i..
I ve always been facinated by people's behaviour, their way of appraochin a problem or even their reactions in a particular situation.. now thts really a very gud time pass.. it helped me a lot to kill time during the initial semesters of my college life.. !!!!

My coll... Sri Sairam engg. -- the best place to have FUN.. :(

My dept. Electronics and Communications -- Place of nasty politics...

The intial days of my college life were as if in HELL.. no enjoyment, no fun ... just studies and discipline.. i cursed myself for joinin this college.. :( Then found tht der were many others who felt the same and thus formed a Group..( My gang) :)

During the 2nd yr. most of the sufferins came our way.. (boring lectures, assignments, hell lot of records.. etc.. ).. as we stepped into our dept. (dangerous like lion's den).... sigh..!!!! One thing tht i ve never understood till now is y some people are so enthusiastic in completin their works and submittin them before the last date !!!!!!!!!!!!! Now dont they understand that this pressurises us also to complete those works on time ??.. ufff.. hate all tht.. wat a waste of time.. Another thing that surprised me, durin classes, was the attentiveness some students gave to the teachers.. my my.. Running notes of the lectures which were read out from our prescribed BOOKs by the teachers.. now wat will u call this????? How to make people understand tht its better to listen to such lectures rather than to have another copy of the Book written in ur own hand writing.. lolz.. anyhow , another excuse from writing down notes.. !!!!!!!

To add more, we even got few lecturers who cud not talk a single word after finding their notes missing.. lolz.. worst, cud not solve the next step of a problem or a derivation if few pages of their notes were missing.. so inturn we got loads of home work ( its diff, we never did it.. ).. still.. i just dont understand y such lecturers are existing.... !!!!! Aha... one more interesting thing that i came to know(in the last yr of coll) that the assignments tht we wrote all these semesters were actually to be written by the corresponding staffs.. now how does this sound - :( ... amazing...

The Lab hours were freedom from the boring lectures ,but yes, sometimes even they turned out to be nothing less than cruel nightmares.. The breakage fine that were charged for small small things itself were so large that hardly someone cud Think of enjoying lab hours.. (mishandling even an IC) .... During the lab hours sometimes ( actually a lot of times) our batch never got outputs but Bingo!!!! we were always the first to get our records signed with fully furnished readings.. now thts called "haath ka kammal".. lolz.. All our staffs and lab technicians were GOD during our Lab Practicals.. :) Aakhir internals ki waat thodi hi na lagani thi.. ;) Its all in the game.. :)

The 3rd year was bit more interesting than the second year, as we were now seniors (almost, not considering the 4th yrs who were very busy in project).. we viewed other students as kids and strted to enjoy our coll life.. during the initial semester (5th) of third yr we all were busy preparing for our campus recruitment which were to take place during the semsters that follwed.. We got special trainings and workshops in the college reg the placement and yes we all enjoyed those classes ( coz hardly we saw our leturers ;)).. Days went very happily wit all attention towards the placement..But then, as if to prove tht happiness is short lived, came our 5th sem exams( very horrible papers.. ) everyone feared the worst.. But soon after ( in 6th sem) strted our placement activities.. everyone forgot abt the exams and got involved in tht process.. almost all of us(our batch) got placed in tht semester itself and then the results that showed up later were also to our utmost relief.. :)

7th semester - an unforgettable experience of my college life.. :) Our batch of students along with 2 staffs went for a tour.. an adorable tour (delhi, agra, kulumanali and amritsar)- it had everythin in it- a complete package filled with surprises, fun and adventure.... though nothing was certain during the tour( strting from the train tickets till buses and residing places) still everything was just perfect.. the tour was an amazing experience for which all words will fall short in description.. those ten days of tour with all friends will always be a very special part in my life.. :) hmm.... :) ... And suddenly after ten days of fun - college strted.. :( !!!!!!!!!
The classes began full fledged.. all staffs showed new interest in students that was not seen till now.. still the discussions continued in class hours and most of them were only abt the tour - the GRAND TOUR OF ECE - we had named it :) ... days passed by and as usual me and my frnds struggled a lot during end semester exams.. :P.. With all clear in 7th sem we entered the last semester of our coll life.. :(

The period of 8th semester was the most ironical, as those days were tha last days of my college life.. :( after it no more such classes with same set of friends and fun.. :(
bhale hi main kitna bhi bura bolun, Aakhir hai to apna hi college na, apne dost-bhale kiska man nahi sisak jaayega... i prayed tht the last semester to last for some more days ...which wud mean- some more time wit frnds - some more time for all tht fun we had been doing for past 4 yrs..
End of my College life approached with the last semester exams.. To tell the truth, in all these four yrs of my college life ,with 7 semester exams crossed ~ only the last semseter exams were the ones, i wished shud NEVER end.. But then time never waits or favours anyone.. it just leaves a trail of feelings - in my case - of happiness for leaving the (jail) college and a hundred times worse feeling of leaving all my friends.. :(

I moved in to Banglore after my college, and here all day i just keep thinking of those exotic moments tht made these 4 yrs so memorable and precious..

But life has to move on and it does.. I miss my friends a lot (no doubt) and just hope to see everyone together again on some path in life - to live and cherish those golden moments again..!!!

As the saying goes "Old is Gold"... :)

Keep smiling always..
